Broken Doll's Summer Home

Don't start complaining about how long it took me to post this: Cre808 took some time getting back to us. The best part is, however, they said yes! We met with Eric, who co-manages Cre808 with his wife. Eric is amazing and showed us around the amazing space, right in the heart of the Bushwick community. For anyone who wants to take a peek, you can walk by 10 Goodwin Place, our summer address, and try to imagine what it looks like inside. Also, feel free to contact the folks over at Cre808 if you need space to host your own events, rehearsals, or classes.

Anyway, so that good news aside, more good news: we have a donate button on the website! You can donate via credit card or echeck (through Paypal) without having to sign up for a Paypal account (though an account is useful... just saying). Of course all transactions are secure. It's Paypal. Seriously. Plus the button situation makes it all high-techy and so forth! See, giving feels good on so many levels.

And for those of you who are as broke as we are, at least sign up to get updates from the website and our email newsletter. I mean, you could at least pretend that you are involved in the growth of our little non profit! I mean if you cared... Ok. Maybe I'm laying it on a little thick. I started to slip into a David Cross routine... the one about the eco-friendly cleaning products... at Whole Foods? Maybe I'm the only one who saw that, but rest assured he is a master at guilting people into buying over priced eco-friendly cleaning supplies. Well, at least his impression of a fictional Rabbi on the cleaning supplies label is good at it. I may not be getting enough sleep...
